Is there a list that defines commonly recorded documents? Yes, click on this link to see a description of commonly recorded documents.
Has my grant deed, assignment, reconveyance or other recordable document been recorded yet? Select Official Document Search, and enter your name as Grantor/Grantee. If your document is not on the list, it has not yet been recorded.
How come my recorded document has not been returned to me yet? Locate your document on the index and note the recording date. All documents recorded on or before June 25, 2012 have been mailed as of today. Later documents are still being processed.
Is my proposed business name already in use in the County of ABC? Select Fictitious Business Names and enter the name you desire to use. Most, but not all, businesses in the County are required to file a Fictitious Business Name statement every five years. The index allows you to view the status of the statements that have been filed.
